HP is bringing its computer science and computer graphics lab to the University of Rochester in partnership with the computer graphics and information science department at the university.
The laptop, dubbed the HP Computacad, will be powered by an Intel i7-4500U quad-core processor and have an optional HP EliteBook E5500 quad-touch screen.
There are also 2GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, 16GB of eMMC flash storage, and a 128GB USB 3.0 port.
The HP Elitebook E5530 has an Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive.
The lab will be open during the week of October 20-21 and will offer a hands-on experience.
The university is offering $200 off the lab’s $3,200 cost.
